There are several reasons why someone would want to. Maybe you are planning a vacation or trip to a Spanish speaking country or maybe you think of emigrating. The ability to communicate in another language certainly gives a great sense of satisfaction.
My reasons were somewhat mixed. I have long sought to learn another language, and for some reason I always write in Spanish. I think that’s one reason, because what little I knew about Spain at the time that somehow appealed to my sense of the good life. Sun, sand, Siesta, no late-night dinners and dark skinned women! There are many more like it for Spain but for me, given Spain and the more attractive than French or German has to say.
Even if I wanted to learn Spanish for a long time, I think the main reason they finally decided to do something because he was planning a long trip to Central and South America. I wanted no less than 19 different countries where the official language of Spain was over. Since then, Spanish and Spanish in Spain and Latin America have literally me. I would not have believed, but now Spanish is a part of my daily life. I can read, speak and understand Spanish at the point where I do not think much.
When people ask me if I fluently, I’m still a little hesitant to say yes. The truth is that while I communicate in Spanish with relative ease, I still do not feel I know enough. I’m not really sure if ever!
